This Privacy Policy has been prepared in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" and other normative acts of Ukrainian legislation governing the collection, processing, and storage of personal data, as well as the right of citizens to non-interference in their private life and freedom of expression.
The Minteo team, caring about the development of relationships with users and recognising the importance of protecting Your personal data, has prepared this Confidentiality Agreement (hereinafter — the "Privacy Policy") and the terms of use of the web application and the website minteo.app (hereinafter — the "Site"). Please read this page carefully — the information set out below is important for You as a User of the Site.
1. Definitions
1.1. The following terms are used in this Privacy Policy:
1.1.1. "Site Administration" — authorised members of the Minteo team who organise the processing of personal data, determine the purposes of processing, the composition of data subject to processing, and the actions performed with it.
1.1.2. "Personal Data" — any information related directly or indirectly to a defined or identifiable natural person (data subject).
1.1.3. "Processing of Personal Data" — any action (operation) or set of actions performed with or without automation, including collection, recording, systematisation, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), use, transfer, depersonalisation, blocking, deletion, or destruction of personal data.
1.1.4. "Confidentiality of Personal Data" — the obligation of the Site Administration or any other person who has gained access to personal data not to allow their distribution without the consent of the data subject or another lawful basis.
1.1.5. "User of the Site" — a person who has access to the Site through the Internet and uses it.
1.1.6. "Cookies" — a small fragment of data sent by a web server that is stored on the User's computer and sent back to the web server when the User attempts to open a page of the Site.
1.1.7. "IP Address" — a unique network address of a node in a computer network built on the IP protocol.
2. Subject of the Privacy Policy
2.1. By using the Site, registering an account, and entering data into the application, the User confirms consent for Minteo and persons authorised by it to process personal data, and also that the User is of legal age.
2.2. The User consents to the Site Administration's processing of the information received, including collection, systematisation, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, correction), use, depersonalisation, blocking, and destruction of personal data provided at registration and entered into the application, for the purpose of providing the service and interacting with the User (including sending technical emails for password reset and responses to inquiries) — until such consent is withdrawn.
2.3. The User agrees that the Site Administration has the right to communicate with the User via email within the scope of providing the service.
2.4. Personal data permitted for processing under this Policy includes: the User's name, email address, phone (optional), country (optional).
3. Purpose of collection and processing of personal data
3.1. Minteo uses the User's personal information for the following purposes: to identify the User registered on the Site; to provide technical support; to offer personalised services (interface language, theme, currency); to contact the User in case of inquiries or account recovery; to improve the quality of the application.
4. Categories of data collected
4.1. Categories of personal data include:
- Registration data: email, name, phone, and country (optional).
- Data that the User enters into the application themselves: clients, projects, time entries, transactions, acts, and bills.
- Cookie files (technical / session only).
- Usage data: IP address and user-agent in system logs.
4.2. Personal data is provided by the User voluntarily at registration or during use of the Site.
4.3. Users are responsible for the personal data of third parties (clients, counterparties) that they enter into the application.
5. Methods and terms of processing personal data
5.1. The User's personal data is processed for the duration of the account's existence by any lawful means.
5.2. The Site Administration does not transfer the User's personal data to third parties, except as provided by the laws of Ukraine.
6. Rights of Users
6.1. Users have the right to know about the storage of their data, to request its update, deletion, correction, or blocking in case of a violation of the law. To do so, send a request to support@minteo.app.
7. Cookie policy
7.1. The Site uses only technical cookies — to store the User's session and interface preferences (theme, language). Analytics and advertising cookies are not used.
8. Security of personal data
8.1. Minteo takes organisational and technical measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, destruction, or modification. In particular:
- Two-factor authentication for accounts at the User's option.
- Passwords are stored only in a protected form — never in plain text.
- Data is transmitted between the User's device and the Site over an encrypted channel.
- The database is hosted in a secured environment.
- The User can review active sessions and terminate any of them.
8.2. This Policy applies exclusively to the site minteo.app.
9. Additional information
9.1. For technical maintenance the Site may keep system logs (in particular, IP address and user-agent) for session security and detection of anomalous activity.
10. Additional terms
10.1. The Administration reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy. In case of material changes, the User will be notified by email.
10.2. If the User does not agree with the changes, they must stop using the Site and may request deletion of their account.
